WHERE IS BUTTERCUP STUDIO MADE?
We are proud to work with suppliers, and lampwork glassmakers across the globe throughout Italy and Asia to produce our glass pieces for our jewellery. Our jewellery is designed and handmade completely in Toronto, Canada. All of our pieces are made in small batches to reduce environmental impact.
WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
We pride ourselves on using only premium-quality materials to create timeless pieces. Our designs feature a curated selection of ceramics, acrylics, semi-precious gemstones, and glass beads.
Our adjustable claps and chains are made from 14k and 18k gold plating on stainless steel and 925 sterling silver, while our phone straps are crafted using a special nylon cord. To ensure the longevity of each piece, we use high-strength beading wires in all our designs.
WILL YOUR JEWELLERY FIT ME?
Inclusivity is at the heart of our design philosophy. That’s why every piece in our collection features adjustable chains, offering complete customization no matter your size. We believe in creating jewellery that adapts to you—no more one-size-fits-all solutions or toggle clasps.
HOW DO CUSTOMS WORK?

CAN YOU MAKE CUSTOMS FOR PETS?
Absolutely! We currently offer dream custom bracelets for our fur babies.
THE ITEM I WANT IS SOLD OUT :( WILL IT BE RESTOCKED?
Our core collection and custom requests do restock, but they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Our unique one-of-a-kind pieces are available until they are sold and will not be restocked. We suggest signing up for our newsletter to be the first to hear about new launches and updates to avoid disappointment.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED OUT?
For ready-made pieces, orders are typically shipped within 3-5 business days, unless otherwise noted. Custom orders require 7-10 business days for processing. As a small, dedicated team, each piece of jewellery is handmade with care and attention to detail, ensuring we create the perfect piece for you. We truly appreciate your patience and support as we take the time to deliver high-quality, unique pieces.
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY BUTTERCUP STUDIO PIECES?
To preserve the quality and longevity of Buttercup Studio jewellery, please follow these care guidelines:
- Avoid contact with cosmetics, perfumes, and lotions.
- Keep away from saltwater and chlorine.
- Remove your jewellery before showering or bathing.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, we ship worldwide to all destinations.
WILL I PAY DUTIES AND TAXES?
Please note that import tax and duty are subject to your country's regulations and are not covered by Buttercup Studio. Please ensure you are aware of the tax and duty regulations in your country before placing an order.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATION
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Returns and exchanges are only accepted within 10 days of receiving your item. The item must be sent back to us in its original unworn condition, with all original packaging. To begin the returns process, please contact us at shopbuttercupstudio@gmail.com.
Please note that we do not accept returns or exchanges for sale items, and we are unable to provide refunds for earrings due to hygiene reasons. However, we are more than happy to exchange the item or provide a credit instead.
HOW DO I PROCESS A RETURN?
To initiate a return, please contact us at shopbuttercupstudio@gmail.com and include the following details in your email:
- Order Number
- Reason for Return
Our team will provide you with the return address and further instructions. Returns must be shipped back to us within 3 days of receiving our email. Please note that the customer is responsible for covering return shipping costs.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service with a signature upon delivery, as Buttercup Studio cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process your exchange or refund within 3 business days. Please ensure that your return meets our return criteria, as we can only accept returns that comply. Please note the original shipping costs are non-refundable and will not be credited in the event of a return.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
We do not allow cancellations or modifications to any order once it has been placed, with no exceptions. We kindly ask that you review your order carefully before completing your purchase. Once an order is confirmed, it immediately enters our processing system and cannot be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our small business.
